GEN AI Tech Sales
- Drive origination and conversion of opportunities related to a specialized technology or platform (e.g. data & analytics, SFDC)
- Client-facing role – articulate Virtusa’s solutions and business value from relevant tech area / platform
- Collaborate with relevant ecosystem partner to drive order booking
- 10+ years of experience in sales in IT services, with expertise in specialized technology/ platform ecosystem/ practice
- Demonstrated track record of identifying and closing new business in relevant tech area
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams across large deals
- Ability to establish relationships and influence decision-making with specialized technology buyers (e.g. CMO, CDO) – articulate business value and solution
- Identify spend opportunities for clients in relevant tech areas and typical buyers to target (e.g., CMO, Chief Data Officer)
- Engage with customer on emerging tech trends in focus practice/ tech area and showcase Virtusa credentials and differentiators
- Originate practice-specific sales opportunities with customers and bring in tech/ platform expertise to initial client interactions
- Scope and qualify opportunities for alignment with Virtusa’s capabilities
- Shape tailored approach and solution for targeted tech based on client requirements, and articulate business value proposition to clients to convert opportunities
- Engage with partner ecosystem across the deal lifecycle to launch marketing activities (events, whitepapers, etc.), identify opportunities for collaborative pursuit and create joint value proposition
- Train sales personnel to drive discussions with customers and sniff out opportunities related to target practice
