Software Development Engineer - Gen AI

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer with extensive experience in the data analytics space and a strong background in modern technology stacks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing scalable API-based solutions and integrating large language models (LLMs) using API endpoints. This role requires a deep understanding of prompt engineering and the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies in the Gen AI landscape.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable API-based solutions for AI applications.
• Integrate popular LLMs (e.g., OpenAI GPT, PaLM 2) using API endpoints.
• Conduct experiments to analyze features and capabilities of new LLM models.
• Build and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure to support AI solutions.
• Collaborate with Gen AI leads and team members to address product backlog requirements.
• Debug and troubleshoot software and design issues effectively.
• Load structured and unstructured data from source systems to target data stores.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proficiency in at least one major programming language (Python, PySpark, or Java).
• Hands-on experience with integrating LLMs using API endpoints.
• Thorough understanding of prompt engineering and LLM agents (e.g., LangChain).
• Basic data engineering skills for ETL processes.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud services (Azure, GCP, AWS) for storage and serverless logic.
• Familiarity with vector databases (Pinecone, Chroma, FAISS).
• Extensive experience with data engineering and ETL tools.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or Mathematics.
