GCP Platform Engineer

Cloud Architecture and Design:
Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure cloud architectures on Google Cloud Platform.
Work closely with development and operations teams to ensure cloud solutions align with project requirements.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform to automate the provisioning and management of resources.
Google Cloud Services:
Utilize a broad range of GCP services, such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and Pub/Sub, Cloud Build, to build efficient and resilient systems.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment and testing processes. Source code management. Knowledge on Code fresh and Git hub.
Security and Compliance:
Implement and adhere to security best practices for cloud environments.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.
Monitoring and Performance Optimization:
Implement monitoring solutions and performance optimization strategies to ensure the reliability and efficiency of cloud-based applications.
Troubleshooting and Support:
Provide support for cloud-related issues and participate in on-call rotation schedules.
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents to maintain system availability. Should be able to guide the team technically and be proactive in providing the inputs to prevent failures. Performs root cause analysis and guides the team to resolve frequently recurring issues. Good design skills.
