Skill: ETL QA

Role / Tier:  - Senior Software Engineer/Tier 3

Job Description:

Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts specifically for ETL processes.
Identify, document, and track defects and inconsistencies in ETL processes.
Define testing strategies and methodologies for data integration and data migration projects
Collaborate with product managers and business analysts to understand the requirements and expectations for each software release
Prioritize testing efforts based on risk and impact assessment to optimize the use of resources
Ensure the test coverage is maintained at the highest level
Test the application as per test cases created

Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in software testing, with a focus on ETL
Strong knowledge of QA testing methodologies that cover all aspects of software testing, including functional testing, UI/UX testing and usability testing
3+ yrs of Proficiency in SQL for querying complex queries, extracting the data and validating data against existing systems.
