Dynatrace engineer

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dynatrace Engineer with strong coding capabilities particularly in Terraform to join our observability and infrastructure automation team The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing configuring and maintaining Dynatrace monitoring solutions across cloud and on prem environments while also contributing to infrastructure as code IaC initiatives
Key Responsibilities
Design deploy and manage Dynatrace monitoring solutions for applications services and infrastructure
Develop and maintain Terraform modules to automate Dynatrace configuration and integration
Collaborate with DevOps Cloud and Application teams to ensure observability best practices
Create custom dashboards alerts and synthetic tests in Dynatrace
Integrate Dynatrace with CI CD pipelines and other monitoring tools
Analyze performance data and provide actionable insights to improve system reliability and efficiency
Maintain documentation for monitoring configurations and automation scripts
Participate in incident response and root cause analysis using Dynatrace data
Required Skills and Qualifications
Proven experience with Dynatrace in enterprise environments
Proficiency in Terraform and infrastructure as code principles
Strong scripting coding skills in Python PowerShell Bash or similar
Experience with cloud platforms AWS Azure GCP
Familiarity with CI CD tools e g Jenkins GitHub Actions
Understanding of APM infrastructure monitoring and log analytics
Excellent problem solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Dynatrace certification s e g Professional or Associate
Experience with Kubernetes Docker and microservices monitoring
Knowledge of configuration management tools e g Ansible Chef
Exposure to ITIL practices and SRE principles
