 Description

As an <Account Manager / Senior Account Manager> at Virtusa, you will be responsible to manage

and grow relationships within the assigned account scope. You will work closely with internal teams

to align client objectives with company goals, identify opportunities for account expansion, and

maximize revenue generation.

Responsibilities

· Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop strategic plans for the assigned

portfolio that align with business objectives, drive revenue growth, and optimize costs.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor and

proactively addressing their concerns and requirements; Work closely with delivery and

other internal stakeholders to ensure client expectations are met.

· Identify, map, and prospect new stakeholders and leverage sales-driven processes to build a

robust sales pipeline and win deals to meet order booking and revenue targets.

· Collaborate with sales, Alliance, Marketing and Response (Presales) teams to identify and

grow opportunities within the account

· Track, analyse, and communicate key quantitative metrics and updates internally and to

clients; gather feedback, prepare, and implement improvement plans.

· Accountable for identifying and closing BAU deals within the account e.g. extensions, scope

changes, other change requests and so on.

· Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and finance, to drive

synergies, resolve issues, and ensure the overall success of client accounts.

· Efficiently managing operations, including accurate revenue forecasting, 􀆟mely closure of

contracts (including master services agreements, rate cards, statement of works, renewals,

etc.), minimizing billing losses, and maximizing collections. Ensure compliance with relevant

financial regulations and policies.

Skills and Qualifications

· Bachelor's degree required, Post Graduate Diploma in Management/MBA degree is preferred

· Minimum 10 years of experience in a client facing role in a consul􀆟ng firm or an

account/engagement management role in the IT professional services industry.
