  • Should have good automation skills to maintain existing automation regression suite by regularly updating test scripts based on new features, resolving script failures
  • Strong experience working with test management tools and JIRA for tracking and reporting

We are looking for an experienced Digital QA Lead with a strong background in digital testing and automation, and prior experience in the Media & Entertainment domain. The ideal candidate will work closely with Product teams to ensure high-quality delivery of digital initiatives (rather than corporate/GPS-focused projects). This role requires hands-on expertise across functional, integration, API, and automation testing, along with strong domain knowledge in programming and international programming sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with Product Management and Business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and understand requirements.
  • Define and own the QA strategy, including test plans, test scenarios, and overall test approach.
  • Estimate testing efforts accurately and ensure alignment with project timelines and business needs.
  • Lead and execute end-to-end testing across digital platforms and applications.
  • Perform Integration Testing to validate data flow and interactions between multiple system components/modules.
  • Conduct API testing to verify system integrations, reliability, and performance.
  • Validate backend data using SQL, ensuring data accuracy and integrity across systems.
  • Maintain and enhance the automation regression suite, including:
    • Updating test scripts for new features
    • Analyzing and fixing automation failures
    • Ensuring stable and reliable automated test execution
  • Use test management tools to manage test cases, execution, and reporting.
  • Track defects, test progress, and quality metrics using JIRA and related tools.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to continuously improve quality processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of overall experience in Software Quality Assurance.
  • Strong experience in Digital Testing and Automation.
  • Prior experience in the Media & Entertainment domain is mandatory.
    • Strong knowledge of Programming and International Programming Sales is highly preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with:
    • API Testing (RESTful services)
    • Integration Testing
    • Automation frameworks (maintaining and enhancing existing suites)
  • Strong SQL skills with a solid understanding of relational database concepts.
  • Experience testing applications built on or integrated with Snowflake.
  • Proven experience working closely with Product teams.
  • Strong experience with test management tools and JIRA for defect tracking and reporting.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
