JOB DESCRIPTION

Skill: Devops Engineer

Tier: T2

Key responsibility:

-3-5 years of experience with DevOps and version control systems like Azure DevOps and GitHub.
-Analyze current ADO repository structures and plan the migration strategy.
-Perform the migration of code repositories, CI/CD pipelines, and version histories from ADO to GitHub.
-Ensure all code branches, pull requests, and build configurations are migrated accurately.
-Collaborate with DevOps and security teams to ensure compliance with security standards post-migration.
-Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines in both ADO and GitHub.
-Experience with migration projects involving large-scale repository management.
-Familiarity with GitHub Actions for automating workflows post-migration.
-Knowledge of branching strategies, pull requests, and code reviews in GitHub.
-Familiarity with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, or Bash) for automation purposes.
-Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
