Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect Consultant to design and deploy scalable, secure multi-account AWS environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices and will be responsible for automating infrastructure, optimizing CI/CD pipelines, managing containerized workloads, and implementing monitoring and cost optimization strategies.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy scalable and secure multi-account AWS environments.
• Write and maintain clean infrastructure definitions using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Build and optimize automated software deployment pipelines using Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
• Orchestrate containerized workloads utilizing Docker, Amazon ECS, or EKS.
• Set up proactive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using CloudWatch.
• Monitor cloud spend and implement cost-saving initiatives in alignment with FinOps principles.

Mandatory Skills

• Proven experience in DevOps practices and methodologies.
• Strong expertise in AWS services and architecture.
• Proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on experience with container management using Docker, ECS, or EKS.
• Knowledge of monitoring and alerting tools, specifically AWS CloudWatch.
• Understanding of FinOps and cost optimization strategies in cloud environments.

Preferred Skills

• Certifications in AWS (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
• Experience with serverless architectures and microservices.
• Familiarity with other cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of experience in cloud architecture and DevOps practices is required.
