Data Engineer - Python AWS Databricks

Key duties: Define and evolve our data architecture for content enrichment, implement core platform.
Ability to design data architectures that have appropriate performance and cost characteristics for the stage of the project, support steady-state and changing data operations (including schema changes) in a reliable and maintainable way, and can be migrated to other architectures as needs evolve. Architecture decisions should start minimal, targeting what we need right now rather than hypothetical future needs.
This is a hands-on developer role: candidate is expected to use agentic AI to prototype, stress-test, and implement key architectural set-up as part of their job duties. (See agentic AI expectations, below.)
