Cloud Data Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Cloud Developer with a strong focus on architecture to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing cloud solutions, particularly in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role requires a deep understanding of GCP Cloud Interconnect and Cloud VPN, which are critical for our infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable cloud architectures using GCP.
• Manage and optimize GCP Cloud Interconnect and Cloud VPN solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud strategies and best practices.
• Conduct performance tuning and troubleshooting of cloud applications.
• Ensure compliance with security and governance policies in cloud environments.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven experience with GCP Cloud Interconnect and Cloud VPN.
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture principles and best practices.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Understanding of networking concepts and security protocols.
• Certifications in GCP or related cloud technologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in cloud development and architecture.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
