IBM ISAM Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced IBM ISAM Specialist responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting IBM Security Access Manager (ISAM) solutions to secure enterprise applications and systems. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with ISAM and a deep understanding of authentication and authorization protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Deploy and configure IBM Security Access Manager (ISAM) components including WebSEAL, Policy Server, and Federation modules.
• Set up reverse proxy instances, junctions, ACLs, and security policies.
• Implement Single Sign-On (SSO) using SAML, OAuth, and OpenID Connect.
• Configure Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and adaptive access controls.
• Integrate ISAM with LDAP directories (Active Directory, IBM Security Directory Server, Oracle Directory, etc.).
• Work with application servers (WebSphere, WebLogic) and J2EE-based applications.
• Ensure secure transmission using SSL/TLS certificates and manage digital certificate renewals.

Mandatory Skills:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with IBM ISAM and related modules.
• In-depth knowledge of authentication and authorization protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC, Kerberos).
• Experience with LDAP directories and directory integration.
• Familiarity with PKI, SSL/TLS, and digital certificates.
• Proficiency in Java/J2EE, scripting (Shell, Python), and automation tools (Ansible preferred).
• Understanding of firewall rules, reverse proxy, and web security concepts.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with RBAC, compliance solutions, and access certification.
• Ability to analyze complex problems under pressure and devise effective solutions.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in security or access management are a plus.
