Consultant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Lead Consultant to lead the design and delivery of enterprise applications using Java Microservices, Spring Boot, and AWS Cloud technologies. This role requires a strong background in distributed systems, cloud-native development, and technical leadership to guide cross-functional teams in building scalable, high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership:
Lead the architecture, design, and development of microservices-based solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
Guide development teams on coding standards, best practices, and cloud-native patterns.
Mentor and support junior developers through code reviews, technical sessions, and hands-on support.
Solution Architecture:
Design scalable and resilient systems using Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and AWS services.
Define architecture patterns including service discovery, API gateway, security, and observability.
Select appropriate AWS services and integration patterns to meet application requirements.
Cloud & DevOps Integration:
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for building, testing, and deploying services on AWS.
Utilize Docker and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or AWS ECS/EKS.
Ensure performance monitoring, logging, and alerting using AWS CloudWatch, ELK stack, or similar tools.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with clients, architects, BAs, and product owners to align technical delivery with business goals.
Translate business and functional requirements into technical specifications.
Participate in estimation, planning, and status reporting activities.
Quality & Delivery Oversight:
Ensure adherence to coding standards, unit testing, and automation frameworks.
Lead troubleshooting and performance tuning efforts across distributed services.
Drive continuous improvement across software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
8+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development with Spring Boot and related frameworks.
Strong knowledge of microservices architecture, API design (REST/JSON), and service communication patterns.
Hands-on experience with AWS services such as:
ECS/EKS, API Gateway, Lambda, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, CloudWatch, IAM
Proficiency in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
Good understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
