Job Description: CI/CD & OpenShift Engineer
Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled CI/CD & OpenShift Engineer to design, implement, and manage automated build, test, and deployment pipelines for containerized applications. The role focuses on enabling reliable, scalable, and secure DevOps practices across OpenShift platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
Deploy, configure, and manage applications on Red Hat OpenShift
Containerize applications using Docker and manage Kubernetes workloads
Implement infrastructure-as-code and deployment automation
Integrate security, quality, and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize pipeline and platform performance
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to improve release efficiency
Support environment management across dev, test, and production
Required Skills & Qualifications
Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps, etc.)
Hands-on expertise with Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes
Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Podman)
Proficiency in scripting (Shell, Python, Groovy)
Experience with Git-based version control systems
Understanding of DevOps best practices and SDLC automation
Good to Have
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
Knowledge of Helm, ArgoCD, or other GitOps tools
Exposure to security scanning tools (Snyk, SonarQube, Aqua, etc.)
OpenShift or Kubernetes certifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
5+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, or platform engineering roles (preferred)
