Calypso Techno-Functional Business Analyst (BA)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Calypso Techno-Functional Business Analyst with strong domain knowledge in Capital Markets post-trade workflows, particularly settlements and cash flow management. The role involves working closely with Operations users and stakeholders to gather requirements, support Calypso configuration, and ensure alignment between business and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Technology , Operations and other stakeholders to understand trade settlement, reconciliation, and reporting requirements.
• Assist in requirements gathering and documentation related to Calypso settlements and cash flow management modules.
• Support configuration and customisation activities including workflows, BO Messages, BO Transfers, Scheduled Tasks, and Reports.
• Facilitate resolution of trade breaks and discrepancies across asset classes like Equities, Fixed Income, and Derivatives.
• Liaise with technical teams for smooth translation of business needs into solutions.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Key Skills & Expertise

• Strong understanding of Calypso settlements workflows and cash flow management processes.
• Solid knowledge of trade lifecycle management and Straight-Through Processing (STP).
• Familiarity with Equities, FX, Fixed Income, and Derivatives instruments and processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with stakeholders and technical teams.
• Ability to work independently from day one.
• Experience in Agile environments is preferred.
• Settlement experience will be good to have.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Techno-Functional Analyst in Calypso projects.
• Good domain knowledge of trade settlement and reconciliation processes.
• Exposure to Calypso configuration activities is advantageous.
