Business Systems Analyst

Role Summary: Gathers requirements through interviews and documentation. Translates business needs into functional specs without AI-assisted mapping.

Key Responsibilities:

- Elicit and document requirements via stakeholder interviews, workshops, and artifact review.
- Translate business needs into user stories, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
- Create process flows, wireframes, and backlog refinement materials.
- Support prioritization by clarifying scope, dependencies, and value/effort tradeoffs.
- Maintain JIRA/Confluence hygiene: epics, stories, definitions, and traceability.
- Partner with engineering and QA to ensure delivered features match intent and are measurable.

Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years as a Business Analyst/Product Analyst in software delivery environments.
- Strong writing skills: clear requirements, specs, and structured communication.
- Experience with Agile tooling (JIRA) and documentation platforms (Confluence).
- Ability to create wireframes/process flows and communicate with technical teams.
- Comfort working across multiple stakeholders and managing ambiguity.

Preferred /Nice to Have:
- Experience with AI/ML product requirements (evaluation metrics, human-in-the-loop workflows).
- Familiarity with healthcare/Medicare business processes.
- Experience with analytics to define KPIs and instrument product telemetry.
