BID Manager
Key Responsibilities
Lead the full bid lifecycle including opportunity qualification, planning, solution coordination, proposal development, review, and submission
Collaborate with sales, delivery, technical, finance, and legal teams to develop winning bid strategies
Create and manage bid plans, timelines, and governance to ensure on-time, high-quality submissions
Drive proposal content development, ensuring clarity, consistency, and alignment with client requirements
Manage RFP/RFI/RFQ responses and ensure compliance with customer guidelines and evaluation criteria
Facilitate bid reviews, risk assessments, and approval processes with senior leadership
Maintain and enhance proposal repositories, templates, and best practices
Analyze win/loss outcomes to continuously improve bid processes and effectiveness
Support pricing strategy coordination with finance and commercial teams
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, IT, or a related field (MBA preferred)
5+ years of experience in bid management, proposal management, or presales roles
Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience responding to complex enterprise RFPs and large deal pursuits
Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities
Proficiency with proposal tools and document management systems
Experience in IT services, consulting, or technology solutions environments
Knowledge of commercial frameworks, pricing models, and contract structures
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) or proposal management (e.g., APMP)
Familiarity with agile bid methodologies and continuous improvement practices
