BFS consulting Lead - APAC
Role Summary: Seeking experienced holistic Banking Expert to drive client solutions, sales, and revenue within the BFSI sector with experience across retail & corporate banking including payments. This role demands a blend of deep domain expertise, sales acumen, and the ability to craft compelling, client-focused proposals. Key Responsibilities: • Offering/GTM Development: Develop deep understanding of our go-to-market strategy for practice offerings across process improvement, efficiency enhancement, analytics, intelligent automation and roadmap assessment. Develop content and personalize for sales support and contextualize solution offerings to regional market as applicable • Sales Origination: Experienced in mobilizing a team to drive content, approach and solution for sales opportunities with leading banks and large regional focused on competing in an efficient manner in the digital age. Create clear, persuasive proposals that highlight our value proposition and meet client requirements. • Delivery Execution: Experienced in leading medium to large scale programs/projects • People Development: Mentor, develop skills and take accountability for staffing for project/program team members • Industry Thought Leadership: Stay informed on industry trends and regulatory changes to keep solutions relevant and competitive and shares his/her viewpoints in wider banking community, ability to shape the agenda in given domain. Qualifications: • 12 to 15 years in Corporate Banking, Retail Banking and Payments with a focus on IT solutions for banks • Previous experience of management consultancy experience is must • Proficient in Retail Banking products (e.g., CASA accounts, Term Deposits, Mortgages, Motor Finance, etc) • Understanding of Corporate Banking products (e.g. Cash management, Trade Finance, Commercial Lending, etc.) • Expertise on payments products like cards, real-time payments, ACH, cross border etc. • Knowledge of traditional Core Banking systems like Temenos/Finnacle/Flexcube/FIS preferable. • Knowledge/awareness of traditional Corporate Banking systems like Finastra, nCino, Zafin, etc. • Knowledge/awareness of traditional payment vendors like Finastra, Volante CGI, Worldline, Fiserv, FIS etc. • Should have handled large scale digital transformation projects as Lead BA/SME/Lead Consultant • Expertise in developing and presenting winning proposals. • Strong project management skills, ensuring timely and budget-compliant solution delivery. • Sharp problem-solving skills with a strategic approach. • Expertise in working in India Geography with India Captives client base • Clear, effective communicator, both written and verbal. • Strong team player, adept at working with cross-functional teams. • Skilled in building and sustaining strong client relationships. • Understanding of digital enterprise architecture design approaches including MVP, patterns and principles of REST APIs, SOA and microservices architecture. • Ability to think outside the box and influence clients to select best in class. Educational Background: • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, finance, Economics, Business Administration • MBA or relevant certifications in Banking |
