Director
The AWS Practice Leader is responsible for building, scaling, and leading the organization’s
Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud practice. This role drives strategy, solution development,
delivery excellence, partnerships, and capability building across AWS cloud services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Practice Strategy & Leadership
● Define and execute the overall AWS practice vision and growth roadmap.
● Build service offerings aligned with AWS capabilities (Migration, Modernization, DevOps,
Data, AI/ML, Security, etc.).
● Drive growth, profitability, and market expansion.
● Establish KPIs, governance models, and operational frameworks.
2. Revenue & Business Growth
● Partner with sales teams to create pipeline and win large cloud transformation deals.
● Lead solutioning for RFPs, proposals, and client presentations.
● Develop industry-specific AWS solutions and accelerators.
3. Delivery Excellence
● Ensure high-quality delivery of AWS programs and cloud engagements.
● Define best practices for architecture, DevOps, FinOps, and security.
● Oversee solution architecture and ensure Well-Architected Framework adherence.
● Drive automation, reusable assets, and accelerators.
4. Capability Building & Talent Development
● Build and mentor AWS architects, engineers, and consultants.
● Drive AWS certifications and competency development.
