AWS infrastructure Engineer

The AWS Infrastructure Engineer is responsible for designing building deploying and maintaining secure scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services AWS This role supports application teams automates infrastructure ensures high availability and enforces best practices for cloud operations security and performance
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Design Architecture
Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS services EC2 VPC S3 IAM RDS Lambda ECS EKS etc
Build and maintain secure scalable network architectures including VPCs subnets routing load balancers and security groups
Participate in architecture reviews and recommend best practices for cloud adoption
Infrastructure Automation IaC
Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code IaC using Terraform CloudFormation or AWS CDK
Automate provisioning configuration and application deployments via CI CD pipelines
Optimize infrastructure automation to support elasticity scalability and rapid deployments
Operations Monitoring Performance
Implement monitoring logging and alerting with AWS CloudWatch CloudTrail ELK Prometheus Grafana or equivalent tools
Maintain highly available systems with appropriate uptime failover and disaster recovery strategies
Troubleshoot cloud infrastructure issues and proactively optimize for performance and cost efficiency
Security Compliance
Implement AWS security best practices including IAM policies KMS WAF GuardDuty and Secrets Manager
Conduct regular security audits patching and compliance checks SOC2 ISO HIPAA as required
Ensure robust identity access and vulnerability management processes
Collaboration Support
Partner with DevOps SRE Development and Product teams to support cloud native applications
Provide guidance on AWS standards governance reliability and cost optimization
Participate in on call rotations and incident management activities
Required Skills Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field
3 7 years of hands on experience in AWS infrastructure engineering or cloud administration
Strong experience with core AWS services
EC2 VPC IAM S3 RDS Aurora CloudFront CloudWatch Lambda ALB NLB SNS SQS ECS EKS
Proficiency with IaC tools Terraform CloudFormation or AWS CDK
Experience with Linux administration shell scripting and core networking fundamentals
Hands on experience with CI CD tools Jenkins GitLab CI GitHub Actions AWS CodePipeline
Solid understanding of cloud security architecture governance and best practices
