AWS DataBase Backup Specialist
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled AWS Infrastructure & SAP Support Engineer to manage and support cloud-hosted environments, SAP systems, and Linux-based infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience in AWS database storage administration, operating system maintenance, SAP application support, monitoring, and infrastructure operations. The role requires ensuring system availability, performance optimization, security compliance, and proactive incident management.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer and support AWS-hosted infrastructure and storage environments. Manage and maintain AWS database storage resources to ensure performance, scalability, and availability. Perform Linux server administration, troubleshooting, and system maintenance activities. Provide SAP application and infrastructure support, including incident resolution and operational monitoring. Plan, schedule, and execute operating system patching activities in accordance with organizational standards. Monitor infrastructure, applications, and system health using Grafana and related monitoring tools. Investigate and resolve performance issues, system alerts, and operational incidents. Coordinate with application, database, and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Support system upgrades, maintenance activities, and disaster recovery procedures. Maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and support procedures. Participate in production support, change management, and problem management activities.
Mandatory Skills:
Expertise in AWS DB Storage administration and support. Strong experience in Linux system administration and troubleshooting. Hands-on experience in SAP Support and operational maintenance. Experience performing OS Patching activities across enterprise environments. Proficiency in Grafana Monitoring, dashboard creation, alert management, and performance analysis. Strong understanding of infrastructure monitoring, incident management, and system health checks. Experience with production support and operational troubleshooting. Knowledge of system availability, performance tuning, and capacity management.
