AWS Cloud Oracle Data Migration Engineer

We are looking for AWS Cloud Oracle Data Migration Engineer – San Diego, CA. This is a fulltime permanent position. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Skill: AWS Cloud Oracle Data Migration Engineer
Role / Tier: Lead Consultant / Tier 2

Note: This will be remote until COVID

Responsibilities:
Design and Implement Data Migration Services on AWS for Homogeneous and Heterogeneous Data Migrations from On-Premise/Cloud environments to AWS cloud 
Setup CloudWatch monitoring and alarms for Data Migration tasks.
Migrate Data from On-Prem servers to AWS Hosted Databases.
Data Migration using AWS DMS, AWS SCT, AWS Snowcone, Snowball etc.
Assist in the documentation of AWS designs, architectures, Data Migration runbooks and playbooks. 

Technical Skills:
10+ years’ experience in IT Industry, 5+ years in AWS
AWS Solution Architect certified / AWS Database Specialty certified
Strong track record of Data Migration to AWS cloud for large enterprise scale databases.
Experience in use of AWS Data services like DMS, SCT, RDS, Aurora, Redshift etc.
Experience in migration of databases to AWS RDS
Experience on migrating databases to EC2 hosted DBs for Oracle and DB2. 
Strong experience on databases Oracle and DB2.
Advanced knowledge of the primary AWS services (EC2, ELB, RDS, Route53 & S3).
Experienced DBA with a demonstrated history of working, with skills in Performance Tuning, Relational Databases, PL/SQL , python ,java 
Strong communication skills
