AWS Cloud FinOps Analyst

Implement and manage cloud cost allocation and chargeback mechanisms
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track cloud spending and usage metrics
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure accurate budgeting forecasting and reporting of cloud costs
Analyse cost trends and provide recommendations to stakeholders on cost saving opportunities
Look for opportunities to continuously improve cloud financial management
Promote educate advocate for good Cloud Economics and FinOps methodologies
Manage and Utilize cloud financial management tools and techniques to control and optimize cloud spending
Stay up to date with industry trends cloud pricing models and best practices related to cloud economics cost management
Collaborate with engineering teams to right size cloud resources and leverage reserved instances or savings plans effectively
Develop and implement strategies to optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance and reliability
Monitor cloud usage and spending identifying areas for optimization and cost reduction
Document approaches runbooks and playbooks upskill federated FinOps champions and engineering teams Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
Passion for cloud technology and cloud value proposition
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a global organisation across teams and stakeholders
Experience in cloud financial management FinOps or cloud cost optimization
