JOB DESCRIPTION
Skill: Automation Test Engineer
Role / Tier: Senior Software Engineer/Tier 3
Responsibilities:
-Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Cypress, a JavaScript-based end-to-end testing framework.
- Create robust and reusable test suites to cover various test scenarios.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing and proficient in STLC.
- Contribute to the development and customization of Cypress test frameworks.
- Implement best practices for test automation.
- Hands-on on Confluence, JIRA, Rally, HP ALM
- Good to have knowledge in Jmeter or any similar tool.
- Experience in API automation
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and other team members to ensure quality throughout the development process.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
- Design and implement effective test cases based on requirements and specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to test environments.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.
- Identify and report defects to the development team.
- Generate comprehensive test reports and metrics.
