1) Cloud Architect (GCP → Azure Migration GitOps-Driven)

Role Overview

Own the end-to-end cloud migration architecture, defining how GCP workloads, IaC, CI/CD, and networking transition into Azure using GitOps as the deployment backbone.

Key Responsibilities

• Define Azure target-state architecture for SaaS workloads
• Design IaC strategy using ASO (Azure Service Operator) and Terraform
• Define GitOps operating model using Flux CD and Helm
• Establish multi-environment SDLC architecture (3 primary + 3 DR)
• Design DR failover/failback patterns
• Define cross-cloud connectivity patterns (VPN/ExpressRoute)
• Ensure compliance with Azure best practices
• Provide architectural governance over CI/CD transformation

Required Skills

• Deep Azure architecture experience
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes & GitOps patterns
• Experience migrating from GCP to Azure
• Strong Terraform expertise
• Experience designing DR & HA architectures
• Strong cloud networking understanding
