Architect (ATC)
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Onsite Program Manager with strong Google program delivery experience to lead and manage a high-impact documentation program. This role will own the end-to-end delivery of technical and non-technical functional documentation, managing Business Analysts and Technical Writers, and ensuring high-quality internal and external-facing content aligned with Google standards.
The Program Manager will act as the single point of accountability between Google stakeholders and offshore delivery teams, ensuring timely execution, content accuracy, stakeholder alignment, and continuous quality improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Program & Delivery Management
Own end-to-end delivery of documentation programs covering product features, APIs, workflows, user guides, onboarding content, and internal process documentation.
Plan and manage project timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and delivery commitments.
Drive sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and delivery tracking.
Ensure adherence to SLAs, quality benchmarks, and program KPIs.
Team Leadership & Management
Manage and mentor Business Analysts and Technical Writers across onsite and offshore teams.
Ensure effective collaboration between content teams, engineering teams, UX, product managers, and customer stakeholders.
Review team performance, conduct regular feedback sessions, and drive continuous improvement.
Build standardized operating processes and documentation playbooks.
Stakeholder & Client Management
Act as the primary onsite interface with Google stakeholders.
Facilitate requirement gathering, content reviews, approval cycles, and change management.
Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and escalation paths.
Represent program status in weekly and executive-level review meetings.
Documentation Governance & Quality Ownership
Own governance for external-facing documentation (customer, partner, developer docs) and internal-facing documentation (process, enablement, SOPs).
