JD: Architect – TypeScript/Go + IDE/Agentic Systems

Responsibilities

Provide technical leadership for Cloud Code extensions in VS Code.

Review triage issues and guide design decisions.

Maintain architecture standards aligned with Google guidelines.

Ensure future-readiness for agentic and multi-agent workflows.

Define coding patterns, unit test strategy, and quality guardrails.

Mentor the 7 SWE engineers; conduct code reviews.

Required Skills

10+ years engineering experience

Deep expertise in TypeScript, Go, VS Code extension architecture

Strong understanding of LSP, Cloud APIs, K8s tooling

Experience with Google Cloud developer workflows
